Mold Protocol

A mold test in Texas needs to be done by a licensed mold assessor and needs to result in a removal protocol (plan). Be sure the quotes include both!

MOLD PROTOCOL...you need one!

If you are contacting some some to assess/test for mold in your home or business, be sure they are going to also give you a plan (protocol) for removing any mold they find which needs remediated.

At SERVPRO of Waco, a restoration company, we are licensed as a mold remediation contractor.  We are are prevented from assessing/testing for mold by Texas rules/guidelines for mold damage.

We certainly do give some names of mold assessors we feel are reputable so you can pick one and the assessor works for YOU.

There are some assessors charging as much for a testing as most assessors are charging for mold assessment AND the protocol (plan) to remove it.  The assessors not including the protocol (plan) with the testing and then charging another, high fee for the protocol.  The protocol/plan is necessary for mold removal under the guidlines.
